Purity
After watching the video together, we want to encourage you to go through the below discussion questions together.
1. What was your view of sex growing up (shameful, casual, don’t do it, strict, etc)? Does it still impact you today?
2. Saving yourself for marriage might be criticized by the world around you. What would your family and friends say about you valuing the idea to wait to have sex until marriage?
3. What are some boundaries that you or your children can start practicing today to honor God with the gift of sex?
Intimacy
After watching the video together, we want to encourage you to go through the below discussion questions together.
1. Start by praying that the marriage God gave you will last a lifetime.
2. Share one thing that was said in the lesson that stuck out to you.
3. What is one thing each of you will do differently this week? How can you lovingly encourage your spouse with their goal?
Patience
After watching the video together, we want to encourage you to go through the below discussion questions together.
1. Personal Reflection: Reflect on a time where your own impatience caused an issue in your relationship. Do you remember your partner’s reaction? How was it resolved?
2. Share with your partner ONE area in your personal life or your relationship that is currently on “microwave” mode that could benefit more on “slow cooker” mode. What would the “slow cooker” version look like for you?
3. Moving forward, what is ONE step you will take now that can help you both practice more patience?
Conflict Resolution
After watching the video together, we want to encourage you to go through the below discussion questions together.
1. How did your parents deal with conflict?
2. Who is the best conflict resolver you’ve known?
3. What were the family rules in your family about disagreeing or fighting?
Intentionality
After watching the video together, we want to encourage you to go through the below discussion questions together.
1. What are some of the ways that you are already being intentional in the growth of your marriage? (Praying together, Weekly Date Nights)
2. What are some ways that you will start being more intentional in your marriage today?
– Making God the center and foundation.
– Communicating about all things, even the hard stuff (Money, Parenting, Sex).
– Being a student of marriage and each other.
3. Have you ever read a marriage book together? Examples: “The Meaning of Marriage” by Timothy Keller, “5 Love Languages” by Gary Chapman, and “Love & Respect” by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs are a great start.
4. Do you know your spouse’s love language and take action on that knowledge daily?
5. Try “Start, Stop, Continue” today. Remember the goal is to communicate needs and do regular check-ins. It’s not to attack or get defensive.
Lastly, what you feed grows and what you starve dies. Feed your marriage every day with intentionality and see your marriage grow way beyond what you thought was possible.
Finances
After watching the video together, we want to encourage you to go through the below discussion questions together.
1. How comfortable are you sharing finances with each other?
2. What are some creative ways you can save money?
3. What is one thing that is important to you to spend money on?

Relationship Priorities
After watching the video together, we want to encourage you to go through the below discussion questions together.
1. When it comes to goals, are you more like Ingrid or more like Dustin?
2. When you see Godly people or families you admire, what is it you admire the most?
3. From that list of qualities, can you choose 2-4 that are the most important to you both?
4. Work to sum up those qualities into a statement. It may take a bit of wordsmithing. It could be a short one to two sentence mission statement, it could simply be the words in priority order like they did.
5. Pray together for God’s blessing on your priorities, relationship, and family.
